Amber Champion

Director/Owner of
Blue Dog Kayaking Ltd.

Amber has been paddling for a few years now, with a Bachelors of Physical Education, Health and specialities in outdoor adventure, outdoor leadership & facilitation and adventure therapy. She has been professionally instructing for over 8 years now and has become the first female in the country to complete Paddle Canada’s Sea Kayaking Curriculum as well as the youngest. Amber has been the first female in P.C history to implement all women’s programming and continues to run these programs, including all women’s L4 programing. In her free time, she’s either out on her gravel bike, hunting for big waves to surf or off camping out of service. Amber is extremely passionate about creating opportunities for paddlers to gain experience, knowledge and challenge themselves. Amber has been drawn to the water and outdoors from an early age. She loves discovering beautiful places and sharing that experience with others. Her passion and enthusiasm for kayaking & paddleboarding is evident when meeting her.

Alison Moorwood

Owner of
Blue Dog Kayaking Ltd.

Alison is a Paddle Canada SUP Flat Water Skills Instructor and also holds a Level 2 skills Kayak certification. Ali enjoys all water sports but is particularly passionate about Stand Up Paddling. She loves that it’s an accessible for everyone and looks forward to sharing that love with people. Over the last few years her roll has changed and she spends her time working on email campaigns, designing kayaks.
