Our half and full day tours are aimed at novice and recreational kayakers who want to enjoy a stress free paddling experience.
These tours are offered from May 17th from our Paddling Centers at Mill Bay and Port Sidney Marinas; with a certified guide to accompany you at a leisurely pace these tours are high on relaxation, interpretative talks and having fun.
Half Day Wildlife Watching Tour
'The early bird catches the worm' or in this case the Great Blue Heron catches a fish!
Our 3 hour guided wildlife tours follow the shoreline. On a typical day you can expect to see bald eagles, harbor seals and plenty of inter tidal life
On exceptional days you can expect to see river otters, a sea lion or two, pacific white-sided dolphins and maybe even a whale!
From your kayak you will be able to view an array of bird life in their natural habitat.

Evening "Sunset Tour"
This is a great way to be out on the water & enjoy the vibrant colors of the Sun setting.
Slow paced and relaxing there is no better way to unwind after a long day than a gentle paddle on a warm evening. This is a 2 hour guided Tour, no experience required.

Gulf Islands Day Paddle
No experience necessary, all gear & food provided for a days paddling with an experienced guide. Single or double kayaks are available.
Launching from our paddling center at Port Sidney Marina, join us a on a day paddle & picnic in the Gulf Islands. An ideal paddling location, the Gulf Islands are one of the most beautiful and accessible archipelagos in the world. Distances are short, scenery is varied, and, despite the close proximity, civilization seems worlds away. Add the chance to see killer whales, bald eagles, seals, sea lions and otters, and you have the makings for a grand wildlife outing while barely leaving your launch site.
Several of the Islands including Sidney Island are accessible in a day. Depending on the groups paddling ability Mandarte Island is a little further, an island east of Sidney Island B.C. and supports the largest sea bird colony in the surrounding area. The island is a First Nation reserve and approximately 8000 sea birds nest on this island. Along with glaucous-winged gulls, pelagic and double-crested are breeding

Finlayson Arm Day Paddle
Join us a on a day paddle to Finlayson Arm, a unique fjord that only replenishes its marine waters once a year
Species that are rare elsewhere in the world flourish in this isolated and stable habitat. The abundance of marine activity attracts scuba divers from around the world, as well as kayakers seeking the calm waters and sheltered bay of Tod Inlet.
