Current Trading Situation
We are re-opening for on water activities from May 30th 2020 based at our paddling center at Mill Bay Marina. This is a phased opening starting with kayak and paddle board rentals, tours and lessons. Our Port Sidney location will remain closed until July 1st at the earliest and we are hoping to re start with West Coast multi-day programs as soon as possible in line with park openings and local community support.
During these challenging times preventing the spread of COVID 19 and the health and safety of our customers and staff has to be our number one concern. Moving forward we will continue to monitor the situation and modify our actions and programs as required.
Due to the risk of COVID-19, we ask that any participant who has a FEVER, COUGH, DIFFICULTY BREATHING, or RECENTLY TRAVELED outside of Canada, to stay at home and NOT attend your course, tour or rental booking. Please call us and we will work with you to reschedule.
Blue Dog Kayaking has added extra preventative measures to mitigate the risk from COVID 19, including but not limited to: participant declaration and waiver, enhanced payment procedures, additional social distancing considerations including reduction of group size and rescue techniques, increased cleaning of equipment and sanitation.
However, by taking one of our courses, tours, or renting a kayak, you agree that:
- Any activity involves some risk of COVID-19 transmission.
- We are following a protocol to reduce or mitigate risk, but that risk cannot be reduced to zero.
- You are attending despite some risk.

We thank you for your patience understanding and look forward to seeing you on the water soon.
