Q. Do I have to have a certain skill level/certification to participate?
A. Yes, Paddle Canada Level 1 skills certification or equivalent paddling skill or experience is required.
Q. Do you have a refund policy?
A. Yes, we have a “rock solid” refund policy, details are on the foot of the home page
Q. Are there any other costs in addition to the program registration fee?
A. Yes, the following costs are NOT included: Pacific Rim National Park Reserve camping and permit fees (BGI Programs only), Car parking, Kayak launch fees ( when applicable)
Q. I don’t have a kayak or safety gear, can I rent from Blue Dog?
A. Blue Dog Kayaking rents kayaks, safety gear, camping gear and dry suits; you can reserve everything you will need at time of booking or call us in advance
Q. I have a few questions about the trip I have booked. What is the best way to contact you?

Q. I booked my trip a few months in advance of the start date, when will I receive my trip package? (Trip plan, waivers, manual etc…)
A. The pre-expedition package goes out approximately 6 weeks prior to the start date or earlier once the trip is full.
Q. I see that coffee, tea and water are supplied, and that I should bring any other beverages I wish to drink. Am I allowed to bring alcoholic beverages?
A. Yes, program participants are allowed to bring alcoholic beverages of there choice.
